Alana Bohn Hello, let me introduce myself my name is Alana Bohn and I am the graphic designer / new media consultant for Kontakt Consulting. What does this all mean exactly? Well I am the one responsible for creating the banners that appear on your sites along with the corresponding color schemes. Along with this I also film and edit podcasts, create picture slideshows, and even design and write content for the e-newsletter among other things.Ever since I was little I always had a passion for art, the outdoors and cats. Living on a farm outside of Yorkton I had many opportunities to go exploring outside, visit with all the farm cats and lots of time to create artwork. So after high school when it came time to pursue a post secondary education I was torn between my two passions, art and the environment. I eventually decided to attend SIAST to receive my certificate in New Media Communications. This allowed me to use my skills as a painter and sketch artist in a different way on the computer. During my time there I studied many different areas such as design, animation, video and video editing, web page design and DVD creation just to name a few. After graduating at the top of my class, I figured that since I was young I still had a chance to pursue my other interest, the environment. So now I am attending the University of Regina full time working towards a Bachelor degree of Science in Geology and Geography. I figure having many kinds of knowledge in many areas can only open doors for me in the future. Even though I am attending school full time, and spending lots of time with my two cats, Kricket and Tika, I am still available to help you in anyway that I can.
